Place Number 1 Chris Hall
Chris is currently serving his second term as councilman for Place 1 and is committed to being your servant, partner, and representative. Chris was raised on the banks of the beautiful Wilson Lake in Muscle Shoals, AL. He is a 1994 Graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Business Administration. Chris has been self-employed in the Shoals since 2003. He brings his successful business background and determination to the betterment of the quality of life of the citizens of Muscle Shoals on which he bases the principles of accessibility, approachability, and understanding. His wife, Heather, is a 1992 graduate of Muscle Shoals High School. They have two children. He and his family attend Grace Life Church in Muscle Shoals. chall@muscleshoalsal.org.

Place Number 2 Gina Clark
Gina is currently serving her 2nd term as your Place 2 council member. She became the first female ever elected to the Muscle shoals city council in 2020. She takes pride in serving and enjoys helping others. She spent her childhood living in Steenson Hollow, before moving to Colbert Heights. She has lived in Muscle Shoals for over 50 years. Gina has been a Realtor in the Shoals for 36 years and has served previously onboards including being a founding member of the Kruzn4aCure Foundation. She and her husband Tommy have been married 38 years. Tommy is a lifelong resident and Muscle Shoals graduate. Their son Drew Clark also graduated from MSHS and UNA. He and wife Brie have 4 children. Place Number 3 Willis Thompson
Willis attends Zion #1 Baptist Church and has served as Recording Clerk and currently as deacon and church treasurer. He worked for 36 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority at Yellow Creek, Chemical Operations, Department of Defense and Wilson Hydro Plant, retired in 2015. He was a member of the Muscle Shoals City School Board for 15 years. Willis enjoys cooking, hunting, exercising and listening to music. wthompson@muscleshoalsal.org.

Place Number 4 Ken Sockwell
Ken is a lifelong resident of Muscle Shoals. He graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 1982 and has a BS Degree in Finance from the University of North Alabama. He serves on the Northwest Alabama Cerebral Palsy Board. He and his family attend Highland Park Baptist Church. He is married to Kristi Nix Sockwell and they have 3 children, Trey, Jay, and Lauren. This is his third term as a council member and he is excited to serve his fellow citizens of Muscle Shoals. ksockwell@muscleshoalsal.org.

Place Number 5 Donnie Linley
Donnie Linley is serving his first term representing Place 5 and currently serves as City Council President. The City Council appointed him to Place 5 on February 3, 2025. Donnie moved to Muscle Shoals in 1992 and began working for the Muscle Shoals Utilities Board in its Water and Wastewater Department in 1993. He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in 1989 and continues to serve as a Sergeant Major with the 87th Training Division. Driven by a desire to become more involved in public service, Donnie is committed to supporting the continued improvement and growth of Muscle Shoals. Donnie's wife, Marjay, graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 1989. They have two children. Their son, Zach, a 2010 Muscle Shoals High School graduate, lives in Priceville with his wife, Mollie, and their two sons, Grayson and Bennett. Their daughter, Sydney, a 2018 Muscle Shoals High School graduate, lives in Huntsville with her husband, Nathan McDonald.
