Administrative Assistant / Records Clerk

The Records Division is under the command of Chief Clint Reck.  When a member of the public needs a copy of a report, background checks, and public information the Records Division is there to help. The Division ensures that departmental records are accurately entered into the records system.  The required Uniform Crime Report records are sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Criminal Justice System.

The Records Division purchases equipment and supplies for the department.  We also serve as departmental computer network system administrator, serves as the liaison between Muscle Shoals Police Department and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Criminal Justice System.  Records Department also does other general clerical duties assigned by the Chief of Police.
