Basic Requirements:

Police Officer - 21 years old
Communication Officer - 19 years old
Correction Officer - 19 years old
US Citizen
High School Diploma
Possess a valid Drivers License
Pass a Background Investigation
Pass a Physical Fitness/Agility Test (Non Certified Police Officer)
Complete 12 week Police Academy (Non Certified Police Officer)
Pass a Written Test
Pass a Drug Screening
Pass a Polygraph
Pass A Medical Exam
Must live within a 20 mile radius of Muscle Shoals City limits

Police Officer:
         Salary for Non-Certified Officer starts at $18.52 Hourly
         Salary for Certified Officer starts at $19.60Hourly
         Top Out Salary for APOST Certified Officer is $21.79 Hourly

Communication Officer
Salary $16.78 Hourly

Correction Officer
