Census takers begin door to door contact August 11th
The U. S. Census Bureau in Atlanta has advised local cities that census takers have begun knocking on the doors of individuals who not responded to the 2020 Census.
All census takes should have identifiable badges and equipment, as well as PPE, to ensure safety and confidence of the public.  Individuals are encouraged to provide their information.
The level of citizen responses determines the numbers of congressional representatives in Washington D.C. as well as grants and resources to the State of Alabama.
