What We Do
The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for:
Transparency & Legislative Support
Developing and maintaining systems that keep the public informed of City Council decisions and legislative actions. We provide essential support to the City Council and City Administration to ensure they deliver exceptional service to the community.
Public Meetings & Elections
Organizing and facilitating public meetings of the City Council, overseeing municipal elections, and ensuring all processes are conducted with transparency and accountability.
Departmental Oversight
Providing supervisory oversight to several key city departments, including:
Records Management & Public Access
Preserving the City’s official records and facilitating public records requests. The Clerk’s Office ensures accurate documentation, timely access, and historical support for both the public and City staff.
Technology & Accessibility
Embracing modern technology to enhance access to information. This includes maintaining digital records, improving online service capabilities, and streamlining the public’s ability to access city data and services.
