Planning and Zoning

The City of Muscle Shoals Planning Commission meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Muscle Shoals City Hall located at 1000 East Avalon Avenue. All zoning request are first presented to the Planning Commission, and the commission makes a recommendation to the Muscle Shoals City Council. All agenda items must be submitted two weeks in advance of meeting.  You may contact Tandy Crosswhite for more information.

The City of Muscle Shoals Zoning Board of Adjustments meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Auditorium located at 1000 East Avalon Avenue.  All variance requests are first presented to the Board for approval.  All agenda items must be submitted three weeks in advance of the meeting.  You may contact Dale Nesbitt for more information.
